The Talmud says the following curious statment; “The Korban Pesach was only a kzaayis but from the hallel that was recited over it, roofs were broken.”(פסחים פה,ב)
The Maharsha explains this to mean that although in the eating of the sacrifice people varied on their intent and that though some ate the Korban Pesach with intense devotion, others ate out of sheer gluttony, nonetheless during the hallel all were equal in that they all recited it lsheim shamayim, to their father in heaven, thus breaking the roofs and the boundaries obscuring their prayers and blocking them from going to Hashem in Shomayim.
