In a private audience with the fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Sholom DovBer Schneersohn, a chossid once bemoaned:
“I am lacking truth. Everything I do in my service to the Creator is untruthful. Not only that, but even this that I am complaining about my lack of truth, I do not mean as well…”
He continued speaking about his intensity of falsehood until eventually he fainted.
The Rebbe commented on this:
“He truthfully searches for truth.”
Even if we are not there yet, the journey to attain truth is also of paramount importance.
