When unfortunately, something bad happens to an individual , concerning his children, health or livelihood, he must have faith that he deserves what occurred to him and trust that G-d will help him.
However, when someone else tells an individual of their difficult predicament—one should never suffice in replying that the person should trust in G-d. Rather, one must help them to the best of their ability, in addition to comforting them and strengthening their faith and trust in G-d.
