Thinking About Yourself

A chassidic aphorism:

Chassidim constantly think about themselves, while others think about G-d.

A Chassid is sure that G-d exists, however, because Chassidic thought constantly questions his own presence, he perpetually ponders his authenticity. On the other hand, there are individuals that are sure that they exist, yet they frequently hesitate as to whether or not G-d does.
