Don’t Take The Good

Once, Reb Mendel of Kotzk said:[1]

The Mishna in Avot (2:8) states: “If you have learned much Torah, do not take good for yourself.”

He explained: “Don’t choose the leniencies that seem good to you and not take the stringencies that you have learned.”
