Reb Mendel of Kotzk, explained the verse (Shemot 22:30) “And you shall be holy people to Me,” as follows:[1]
“Your holiness should be human, and your human actions should be holy. G-d is not lacking in supernal angels. He specifically desires “holy people;” individuals who express holiness within their humanity.”
