Compared To Arrows

A small thought from Kotzk.

The verse in in tehillim[1] says: Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of youth.

When a person shoots an arrow and then regrets what they have done, there is no way to undo it.

So too, when in one’s old age they regret the actions of their youth, there is no way to change what you did in those days.
