Flesh, Blood and G-d

In Tanya (Ch. 2) it states that every single Jew “from the highest of all ranks to the lowest that is embodied within the illiterate and the most worthless, all derive, as it were, from the Supreme Mind which is Chochmah Ilaah (Supernal Wisdom), analogous to that of a son who is derived from his father’s brain.”

Once, at a chassidic gathering, a great chossid said the following while choked in tears:

“Chochmah Ilaah (G-d’s Supernal Wisdom) is enclothed in a course garment of flesh, bones and the passionate, boiling blood…”

Were we to realize that notwithstanding our utter lowliness G-d is with us, we would be entirely different people.
