The exodus from Egypt did not merely constitute leaving a physical servitude in order to reach physical freedom. Rather, even more so, it was about the Jewish people escaping the spiritual impurities of Egypt and attaining a spiritual freedom where they could attach themselves to G-d.
Because of this, during the redemption from Egypt, being that the evil in the souls of the Jewish people was at that point in its full strength , they needed to flee from there as quickly as possible.
However, in the future redemption, when the evil will be completely nullified, there will be no need to rush.
